Fab Shop Gets Updated!

In early January, we updated our fabrication shop with new state-of-the-art hydraulic brake and shear equipment. The new equipment comes with safety technology that ensures safe operation by using a laser safety guard that guarantees shut down if it detects any safety hazard in the protected areas. Additionally, the new press brake allows for better quality and high precision sheet metal bending.

It took a crane and six people to set the new machines into place and the following day they were wired and ready for use. “We’ve been using the new equipment for several weeks and I am pleased with the quality and thrilled by the assurance that my guys are using safer equipment”, said Warren Voltz, Fabrication Manager.
