Safety Champions

We believe in recognizing our champions of safety! Our champions make safety their top priority and their behaviors reflect how much they care. We are honored to present “Pinky”, Duncan, and Jack with Certificates of Commendation as well as branded jackets with their names embroidered on them for taking initiative and having the courage to care.

One of our sheet metal mechanics who was working in a warm space took a break outside not realizing the hot day was not allowing him to cool down. Our team noticed the mechanic was not feeling well and his condition was actually getting worse. They knew the symptoms of heat stress and applied ice packs while also calling for emergency service. The mechanic was rushed to the hospital and due to the quick actions of Pinky, Duncan, and Jack, our sheet metal mechanic was able to quickly return to good health!

Our workplace safety champions are the beating heart of a strong and healthy safety culture. Pinky, Duncan, and Jack took a very active role; likely preventing their teammate from getting in real trouble. Thank you for having the courage to care and for making safety your top priority!
