ColonialWebb's "Going to the Dogs"
On Thursday, June 22, 2017, a “Goin’ To The Dogs” event was held at the Corporate office in support of the Richmond SPCA to raise funds and food for the pets that are continually housed at their facility. To help add to the excitement of the event, employees were encouraged to make a donation and enjoy a full week of jeans attire!
Other highlights of the day were a lunch consisting of grilled hot dogs, baked beans, coleslaw, pasta salad and cookies, as well as a visit from Laurie and Lisa, two of the Richmond SPCA employees, and two of their adoptable dogs, Buster and Apollo. Both Buster and Apollo were a big hit with the employees! Buster even won over the heart of one of our own employees and was adopted on the spot into his forever home! Congrats to both!
ColonialWebb continues to support the efforts of The Richmond SPCA who rescues nearly 4000 dogs and cats each year! At their facility, rescued animals are returned to good health, and then through an adoption program, they find them new homes! Robin Starr and the amazing staff make this happen, but only with the assistance of those in the community like us!!
This event was filled with great conversation and fellowship and raised over $600 in cash and a lobby full of donated dog and cat food! A huge thanks goes out to everyone that helped make this event a success!
