Micro III Control Panel End-of-Life Announcement
GEA (FES) has made a recent announcement to discontinue the line of spare parts for the Micro III generation panels. Their current panels have been operating and supported since 1996 and due to technology advances over the past 20 years, the parts for these panels are getting more difficult to manufacture.
What does this mean for you as the end user?
Supply of spare parts for the Micro III will continue until December 31, 2017.
Technical support for the Micro III will continue as long as possible beyond December 31, 2017.
Many of our customers are still operating Micro III control panels in their facilities. We recommend you contact Jessica Russell to be prepared for the future, when parts become completely unavailable. We can help by making recommendations and providing pricing to budget for the spare parts you may want to maintain in your inventory.
ColonialWebb recommends you prepare and develop a plan to upgrade your existing control panels. We can help develop a plan that will work for you. We offer GEA’s Omni panel as well as resources/options from other various manufacturers. It could be one panel or multiple panels staged over a period of time, but ColonialWebb can help you meet your needs!
