IT - WARNING: Ransomeware Attack

As reported in multiple news outlets, there is a global ransomware cyber attack going on called "WannaCrypt/WannaCry". This attack comes in via a .zip file attached to an e-mail. Once this .zip file is opened it will encrypt the computer it was opened on - as well as any computer connected to the same network as that computer.

Please use caution opening ANY attachments in e-mails, as this infection will render your computer unrecoverable - as well as other computers on your home or work network. Do not open .zip file attachments or attachments which come through on personal email accounts while using a company computer or connected to the company network.
